St. Luke Lutheran Community – North Canton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator for the overnight shift to oversee care, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality clinical services for residents.

This leadership role requires an Ohio RN license, 1 year of long-term care experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to coordinate care plans, participate in MDS, and support staff development on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio (required).
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience (required).
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation systems.
• Reliable, organized, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing care during overnight hours.
• Ensure nursing staff follow established protocols, standards, and care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care and medication administration as needed.
• Conduct assessments, participate in admissions, and review care plans.
• Serve as a key point of contact for residents, team members, and clinical staff.
• Monitor resident status, respond to concerns, and elevate issues to the Director of Nursing as necessary.
• Participate in MDS assessments and interdisciplinary care team planning.
• Support training and ongoing staff development.

In this leadership role, you’ll help ensure high-quality clinical care, provide supervision and support to our nursing team, and contribute to a positive and responsive environment for residents.

What You’ll Do:
