UnitedHealth Group's OptumCare is recruiting for a Registered Nurse Coordinator at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, TX. Join a nationally recognized health system with 40+ locations and more than 900 providers delivering coordinated, high-quality care.

You will provide direct nursing care, apply clinical knowledge, and lead a team to improve station flow and patient safety in line with professional standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Texas RN license (valid and current).
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years in a clinical area.
• CRT experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Proven ability to use equipment for CPR, oxygen, IV therapy.

The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
• Valid and current Texas RN license
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association
• 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department
• CRT experience
• Experience leading a team
• Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
• ACLS
• 2+ years of ambulatory care.
• Supervisory experience
• Proven windows- based computer skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35 - $63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
