Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking an RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput to help move patients safely and efficiently through the emergency department. You will align staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources while providing clinical guidance and escalation when needed.

• RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of ED or hospital coordination experience.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC within 1 year of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date.
• TNCC within 1 year of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput, you will play a key role in ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination. By aligning staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources, you‘ll help teams deliver care that is organized, safe, and patient‑centered. And in moments of urgency and complexity, your leadership will keep caregivers connected, supported, and focused on their mission to care for and improve human life.

Your role will include:

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
