Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a registered nurse to provide bedside nursing care in a correctional facility setting. You will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately while coordinating with practitioners and other medical services.

The role requires an active state nursing license, BLS certification, and strong knowledge of the RN scope of practice. Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided (in good standing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the practitioner.
• Triage and intake screenings for necessity and priority.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
• Record care information concisely and accurately.
• Coordinate medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
