Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a registered nurse to provide on-site care within a correctional facility, delivering timely nursing care, medications, and patient education. You will collaborate with practitioners, maintain accurate records, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting multiple facilities as needed.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and strong documentation skills to support quality care and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent documentation skills and knowledge of RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments and tasks as ordered by the practitioner.
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices as required.
• Record care information concisely and accurately, in the appropriate format.
• Coordinate multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
