Job summary

SCAN Group is seeking a registered nurse to lead and oversee audits for the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) within the MCP. The role focuses on Facility Site Reviews and Medical Record Reviews to ensure safe, compliant clinical services.

Most audits occur in the Los Angeles area, with regional travel as required. The ideal candidate holds an active CA RN license, with 2+ years of ER/Acute Care experience, and can work remotely/field-based in California.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (CA) active.
• 2+ years clinical experience including ER/Acute Care.
• Certification: DHCS-CSR preferred or ability to certify within 1 year.
• Must have driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee DHCS auditing activities for PCP sites.
• Support audit assignments within timelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training on auditing processes and CAP development.
• Communicate findings and assist providers in achieving compliance.
• Travel within assigned territory and occasionally to Inland Empire/San Diego as needed.
