Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• 1+ year of current acute care RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA or Red Cross required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
