Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient­-care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the care team to ensure safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, following policies, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. A nursing degree and RN license are required, with BLS and other certifications preferred

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma required; RN license required.
• BLS certification; PALS/ACLS/TNCC certifications preferred or required upon hire.
• Experience in hospital/acute care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement and adjust care plans.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes in the EMR.
• Promote patient safety, confidentiality and compliance with policies.
