Job summary

Paradigm at Stevens is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Yoakum, TX facility. You will provide direct nursing care and manage care plans under physician orders, while upholding state regulations and facility policies.

The role requires an active RN license in Texas, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and strong communication in a collaborative team. Prior LTC and rehabilitative nursing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the resident's plan of care.
• Follow policies and privacy requirements; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily work assignments and oversee nursing staff tasks.
• Oversee nurse aides and coordination with nursing home staff to maintain policy adherence.
• Ensure secure handling of computers and log-off procedures when unattended.
