Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing with continuing education requirements.
• Current RN license in Alaska and Basic Life Support.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications preferred within six months.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate own nursing practice against professional standards and regulations.
• Follow ANA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as the foundation for nursing.
• Collaborate with patient, family and other providers in forming goals and care plans.
• Consider safety, evidence-based practice, and cost when planning and delivering care.
• Deliver timely and effective nursing care per established standards.
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions and evaluations.
