Nurses independently apply the nursing process to a full assignment of patients with diverse needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring ethical, culturally sensitive care guided by standards and continuous professional development.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current registered nurse license in Alaska is required.
• Continuing education as required by nursing practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing services according to the patient care plan.
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Direct day-to-day activities of LPNs, NAs, and PSAs.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
