Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required with current Alaska nursing license.
• Maintain continuing education as required by the state of Alaska.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, ethics, and standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate one’s nursing practice against professional standards and regulations.
• Utilize the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice as the foundation for care.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the care team to create goals and plans.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care and document interventions.
