Mercy in Edmond, OK is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will ensure quality care, protect patient rights, and coordinate with multiple departments.

Requirements include an RN license, graduation from an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN), and BLS certification (or plan to obtain within 30 days). Some units may require additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS or certification within 30 days of hire.
• One or more certifications may be required based on position/unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
