UCS Healthcare in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position at our Cedar Rapids medication unit location. The RN will provide comprehensive medical care within the scope of practice and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Experience in addiction treatment is a plus, and a valid IA RN license is required. The role emphasizes professional growth, adherence to HIPAA and CARF standards, and alignment with UCS Healthcare

Competenze

• Unrestricted license in the state of Iowa as an RN.
• CPR certification is required.
• Venipuncture skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and exercise discretion and judgment.

Mansioni

• Administer medications to patients in treatment.
• Perform nursing assessments and H&P's on new admissions or readmissions.
• Review prescriptions and OTC medications for safety and patient awareness.
• Perform TB tests and other testing as ordered by physician.
• Carry out physician orders including telephone orders.
• Assist the physician with clinic operations and patient rooming.
