Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team across multiple skilled nursing communities in Iowa, including Cedar Rapids. Full-time and part-time shifts from 6AM–6PM are available.

You will provide direct nursing care, support daily operations, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and high-quality care. We value empathy, clear communication, and dedication to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Iowa) or ability to activate.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Commitment to empathetic, respectful, patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
