Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes
• Apply nursing process: assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate care
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans and collaborate with care team
• Maintain safety culture and accurate documentation in EHR
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol
• Demonstrate effective communication and appropriate delegation
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical patient care
• May float to other units as needed
• Provide age-appropriate care across lifespan
