Job summary

ERA Health Research in Redmond, WA is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I to manage multiple facets of clinical trials, ensuring ethics, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. The role requires an active Washington RN license and at least one year of clinical or research experience.

The position emphasizes protocol adherence, data integrity, patient education, and collaboration with regulatory and clinical staff. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Washington State RN license required upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• At least one year clinical and/or clinical research experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification, or ability to obtain within first 90 days of employment.
• Venipuncture and IV start skills or ability to learn within first 30 days.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and protocols precisely.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Teamplayer able to communicate and collaborate across teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• ERA does not provide employment visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify objectives, endpoints and outcome measures for a given clinical trial.
• Implement protocol amendments according to GCP and use only IRB/IEC approved documents.
• Coordinate site initiation visits and prepare necessary documents, equipment and facilities.
• Train team members on clinical research skills to enhance competency.
• Ensure SOPs align with study requirements and maintain data integrity.
• Manage study supplies and inventory across the trial.
• Develop trial management tools such as subject calendars and source documents.
• Perform nursing assessments and protocol-related procedures (vitals, ECGs, IV starts, etc.).
• Administer investigational products and monitor patient responses.
• Document and report adverse events to the PI and sponsor.
• Coordinate with regulatory, recruitment and clinical staff for patient visits.
• Complete pre-screening, screening and enrolment logs accurately.
• Maintain regulatory documents and study binders.
