Job description

Under minimal supervision from the Section Chief, the incumbent is responsible for the successful completion of all actions in accordance with approved protocols related to patient activities in clinical studies, including but not limited to: study subject identification, recruitment, screening and eligibility, enrollment, medical observation, and follow-up. The incumbent will also handle pre- and post-award duties such as regulatory approval, cost analysis, and initiating subcontracts for tests, procedures, or visits not provided by the principal investigator or coordinator. Must stay current with federal regulations concerning safety in the workplace and human subject research.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Required Education: BSN or RN
2. Discipline: Nursing
3. Certifications/Licenses: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Louisiana
4. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical RN experience
