RN-CLINICAL SUPPORT NURSE - PEDIATRIC STAT; NIGHTS

Albany Medical Center is seeking a RN-Clinical Support Nurse for the Pediatric STAT unit in Hannacroix, NY. This position is a night shift opportunity with the following details:

Department/Unit: Childrens Hospital STAT RNs

Work Shift: Night (United States of America)

Salary Range: $74,484.00 - $122,907.00

The Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) provides leadership by offering on-site expert consultation to Patient Care Services Staff in the Children’s Hospital. The CSN educates and supports staff in learning patient care skills that may require additional training, while also maintaining direct patient care responsibilities.

Hourly Range: $35.81 - $59.09

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing
• Manage complex patient and system-related issues
• Assist staff in developing clinical skills and solving problems in complex patient care situations
• Teach and support staff in initiating access and managing intravascular therapy
• Provide direct care in complex patient care situations
• Communicate effectively to reach consensus with the care team for the patient's best interest

Education/Experience:

• Current NYS Nursing license; BSN preferred
• Pediatric/Critical Care certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics
