RN-CLINICAL SUPPORT NURSE - PEDIATRIC STAT; NIGHTS

Join our team as a Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) at the Children’s Hospital, providing expert consultation and direct patient care in a leadership role.

Department/Unit: Children’s Hospital STAT RNs

Work Shift: Night (United States of America)

Salary Range: $74,484.00 - $122,907.00

Hourly Range: $35.81 - 59.09

The CSN teaches and supports staff in developing patient care skills, manages complex patient and system issues, and provides direct care in selected situations. Responsibilities include:

  1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in specialty nursing
  2. Manage complex patient and system-related issues
  3. Assist staff in developing clinical skills and problem-solving in complex care situations
  4. Teach and support staff in intravascular therapy management
  5. Provide direct care in complex patient situations
  6. Communicate effectively to reach consensus with the care team for the patient's best interest

Education/Experience:

  • Current NYS Nursing license; BSN preferred
  • Pediatric/Critical Care certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics
