Allegheny Health Network’s Trauma ICU is seeking a RN Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing care on a 24-bed trauma unit dedicated to high-level trauma services. The role involves directing patient care, coordinating staff, and ensuring adherence to trauma protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a PA RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and supervisory experience with a focus on critical care. BSN and specialty certification are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent as required.
• Current State of PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC).
• BSN preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in clinical specialty preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing care and clinical operations on the Trauma ICU.
• Serves as clinical expert and role model for staff.
• Mentors and monitors staff performance; follow-up as needed.
• Demonstrates effective leadership and interpersonal communication.
