Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Long Beach, CA is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to oversee the Adult CCU on nights. This role combines clinical leadership with operational oversight to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

You will direct staff, monitor staffing, mentor nurses, collaborate with physicians, and participate in performance improvement. A California RN license and BLS are required; a BSN preferred, with at least two years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience required in an area of similar clinical expertise.
• Supervisor and/or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Current California RN license.
• BSN preferred; BLS required; specialty certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs patient care within one department/unit while on shift.
• Directs staffing to ensure safe, efficient, quality patient care.
• Models interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and staff.
• Monitors performance and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Participates in patient care and departmental operations as needed.
