Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to oversee shift nursing in the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, opportunities for overtime and to cover various shifts.

The RN supervisor will coordinate a multidisciplinary team, provide patient-centered leadership, and ensure stroke protocols and high-quality care. Florida licensure, ER experience, and supervisory skills are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years ER experience; 1-3 years supervisory preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments as required.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and direct/indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary team members and directs nursing staff toward safe outcomes.
• Provides professional leadership and supports the facility mission.
• Demonstrates Stroke alert process and NIHSS competency; supports ED and ICU activities as needed.
• Maintains currency in stroke knowledge with annual NIHSS/STROKE training.
