Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years emergency room experience; 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• Florida RN license current.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility for planning and provision of direct and indirect ED nursing care.
• Directs and coordinates multi-disciplinary team members to achieve safe outcomes.
• Supports activities aligned with the facility's vision and goals.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Coordinates stroke care processes and NIHSS training; participates in thrombolytic therapy workflow.
