Position Summary:
REMOTE POSITION! **Multi-state, PLUS MICHIGAN RN license required.**
The Clinical Quality Specialist models the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation. The role primarily involves ensuring the accurate entry of all Start of Episode and OASIS forms for patient charts and processing Home Health Director of Clinical Services workflows.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete or review all client medical records regarding OASIS.
2. Execute all OASIS reviews promptly.
3. Ensure compliance with OASIS time frames as required by law.
4. Perform OASIS activities in conjunction with field staff.
5. Review and process the Home Health Director of Clinical Services workflow, including tasks related to start and resumption of episodes, OASIS review, and utilization.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• One (1) year experience in home health care required.
• QA experience in home health care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Skills:

• Mathematical skills: Ability to perform basic calculations and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Other skills: Ability to understand and articulate hospice philosophy, and fluency in English.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Active, unencumbered Multistate Compact RN license.
• Current COS-C certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The role requires standing, walking, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity and focus are necessary. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
