Job summary

LaSante Health Center in New York seeks a Clinical Operations & Education Coordinator to improve clinical operations through staff education, workflow development, competency assessment, quality improvement, and daily oversight.

The role is a hands-on leadership position on the clinical floor, coaching staff, monitoring patient flow and room utilization, and supporting providers to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum 3 years ambulatory clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, preceptor, or training experience.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized training materials for all clinical positions.
• Coordinate onboarding of new clinical employees.
• Conduct annual competency assessments.
• Develop standardized workflows across all departments.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and remediation.
• Observe a minimum of two clinical employees each workday and evaluate skills, judgment, and patient interaction.
• Monitor patient wait times and round on staff to identify workflow barriers.
• Promote accountability and teamwork to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
