Job summary

The Cottage Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Nurse Supervisor, overseeing nursing staff, supervising resident care, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

You will organize admissions/discharges, review charting, supervise med administration with staff, deliver staff training, and participate in community events while building strong relationships with residents, families, and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Current MN RN license required in Minnesota.
• Ability to lead a group and communicate with staff and families.
• Knowledge of nursing assessments, care plans, and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for proper services based on residents' unique circumstances.
• Organize and complete admission/discharge assessments and supervise other assessments.
• Observe and audit daily charting and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure medication administration procedures are followed and address corrections with staff.
• Provide health and medication training to new employees and ongoing staff education.
• Assist with marketing duties in coordination with the Assisted Living Manager.
• Host community events and provide tours to potential residents and families.
• Document and report grievances and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Mentor staff as needed and notify management of delinquencies when necessary.
