The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating high-quality, cost-effective patient care, overseeing operations including scheduling, staffing, intake, physician communications, billing, reimbursement, and compliance.

  • Manage, supervise, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care and services, including referral coordination and developing individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate with physicians, families, and clinicians involved in care.
  • Communicate effectively with staff through orientation, case conferences, and in-services.
  • Ensure only qualified personnel are hired, with proper licensure and certification.
  • Provide in-home visits as needed.
  • Oversee accurate clinical documentation, including electronic visit verification.
  • Assist with complaint investigations and follow-up.
  • Oversee infection control practices.
  • Serve as Emergency Management Coordinator in the absence of the Executive Director.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
  • Minimum one year of home care experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

State Specific Requirements:

  • CT: One year full-time clinical experience in a home health agency and relevant educational qualifications.
  • LA: One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
  • KY, NY, OH, TN, WI: No additional requirements.

Skill Requirements:

  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations preferred.
