Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year FT or 3 years PT in acute care.
• Commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Active Texas license or compact state license; temp TX license acceptable until permanent license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS required and maintained; ACLS/CPR certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or procedures; provide professional nursing leadership.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Oversee and guide nursing staff under supervision; coordinate with healthcare team.
• Perform assessments, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care; ensure patient-centered care.
• Interact with hospital staff on patient care concerns and resolutions; may work weekends/evenings/on-call.
