Job summary

Ascension is seeking an RN Lead for the General Med Surg unit at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. This is a day, part-time role guiding nursing and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Plan shifts, services and patient care with staff using independent judgment.
• Assess daily patient care needs and distribute assignments to ensure appropriate care and productivity.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
• Ensure availability of adequate materials, resources and supplies.
