This job oversees the pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or inpatient transplant clinical practice. Acts as a patient advocate and patient educator while promoting patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation. Serves as an integral member of the transplant team, assisting physicians by monitoring patients, managing outpatient clinics, and reviewing cases with doctors. Provides care to individuals of all ages.

Education
Required: Registered nurse diploma.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Work Experience
Required: 3 years of related experience with an associate degree or 2 years with a bachelor's degree.
Certifications
Required: Current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Preferred: Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC).

Job Duties
Other responsibilities include maintaining current knowledge of laws and standards, ensuring compliance, and adhering to the company's conduct and privacy policies.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Light work involving exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally. Exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials may occur, with accommodations available for disabilities.
