Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse Float to provide diverse patient care across multiple clinics. The role supports efficient, quality care delivery and requires collaboration with physicians, PCPs, and staff.

Travel between sites is essential, with emphasis on ambulatory settings and community health support. The ideal candidate holds an RN/BSN, California license, CPR/BLS, and preferred bilingual skills in English and Spanish, plus a commitment to culturally

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized RN/BSN program.
• California RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS or ACLS/ATLS required per job.
• Willingness to travel between sites; own car required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of patient care activities to facilitate prompt, quality care.
• Participate in Lean/Hoshin trainings and Core Team activities.
• Coach and supervise assigned staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation per department standards.
• Maintain clinic workflow, manage supplies and vaccines.
• Travel between sites as an essential function of the job.
