Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification required for certain departments: ICU/Telemetry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures; uses nursing process to provide care.
• Assesses patients at admission, during shifts, and with condition change.
• Develops and updates plans of care with outcomes.
• Administers medications and IV therapy per policy; ensures MD orders and monitoring.
