Job summary

Lake Health District is seeking an experienced Nursing Education Director to oversee the design, development, and evaluation of education programs for our Acute Department. You will ensure alignment with current federal and state guidelines and the facility’s policies, guiding staff through policy changes and competency updates.

Reporting directly to the CNO, you will manage education-related personnel and collaborate with clinical leadership to promote a culture of excellence in patient care

Qualifications

• Requires BSN and RN licensure in Oregon.
• Current CPR, ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC certifications.
• Minimum two years of experience planning and directing adult nursing education.
• Completion of an approved train the trainer course.

Responsibilities

• Administer, plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate nursing education programs.
• Align education delivery with culture change concepts in acute care.
• Manage education staff within the District.
