Job summary

Midland Care Connection, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Services Educator to train and mentor our clinical staff across hospice, home health, PACE and related programs.

You will welcome new employees, deliver clinical education, validate competencies, and lead BLS instruction. The role requires an RN license, compact licensure, and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with travel to other Midland Care locations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Multistate/Compact nursing license or ability to obtain within required timeframe
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication, teaching, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel to other Midland Care locations, with travel expected based on needs
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, including required education, competency validation, and clinical onboarding activities
• Conduct new hire health screening activities as part of onboarding, including TB screening/testing and N95 fit testing
• Develop and teach educational sessions for new hire orientation and ongoing staff education
• Teach BLS courses and conduct hands-on skills check-offs for BLS certification
• Provide clinical competency assessment and education to employees across service lines
• Coordinate organization-wide occupational health and infection prevention processes within Education Department
• Serve as a resource on infection prevention practices and employee safety requirements
• Support respiratory protection processes and N95 fit testing across locations
• Coordinate follow-up for occupational exposures and bloodborne pathogen events
• Assist with annual influenza vaccination program and documentation
