The role blends charge-nurse responsibilities with upper nursing management, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating physician services to maintain consistent, attentive, and efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• 5 years minimal clinical nursing experience, knowledge of MDS and current Federal and State regulations for LTC.
• Current RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Clinical Services with interdisciplinary team
• Coordinates Physician Services
• Works directly with floor nurses to oversee hands on care
• Assist in ensuring the nursing department provides consistent, attentive, and efficient care to patients.
• Responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Blended role of a charge nurse and upper nursing management
