Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Decision Unit on the ED Hold. This full-time night shift (7pm-7am) offers a challenging fast-paced environment and opportunities to impact patient outcomes through coordinated care and evidence-based practice.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the care team, and support patients and families while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• RN license in Alabama or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team.
