Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decision Unit. This full-time night position offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and requires BSN preferred and Michigan RN licensure.

• Clinical knowledge to develop effective nursing care plans
• Ability to document and communicate care to patients, families, and staff

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols and collaborates with physicians to facilitate timely clinical decisions
• Monitors vital signs and develops individualized care plans aligned with CDU protocols and documents changes
• Educates patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions; maintains accurate EHR documentation for continuity of care
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical judgment in fast-paced environments while ensuring patient safety and quality standards
