Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator to oversee daily departmental operations and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during the 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM shift. The role includes supervision, resource management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required: California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years acute care nursing plus 1 year as a charge nurse. MST5 is preferred; chemotherapy certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• Current BLS provider card through American Heart Association.
• National Certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.
• Current ACLS Provider.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred (MST5 only).
• Member in professional organization preferred.
• Two (2) years current acute care nursing experience.
• One (1) year progressive charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision and day-to-day management of nursing practice and patient care delivery.
• Manage human, fiscal and other resources and resolve issues.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within the department and organization.
• Model commitment to the hospital’s vision/mission/values and improve patient outcomes.

Education

AA degree, Bachelor’s/Master’s preferred
