Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently apply the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic and efficient care for a group of patients in a regulated environment. The role focuses on MST5 Orth/Onc telemetry with full-time days in Santa Clarita.

Ideal candidates hold an ASN (BSN preferred), California RN license, BLS and ACLS; telemetry and orthopedic/joint/spine coursework are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN is required
• BSN strongly preferred
• 1 year acute hospital experience minimum
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Licensure and certifications must be current (RN, BLS, ACLS)
• MST5 Telemetry and Orthopedic (Joint and Spine) coursework required
• Chemo provider certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently utilize the nursing process to care for a group of patients
• Deliver safe, therapeutic and efficient nursing care in line with HMNH policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide specialized care in MST5 Orth/Onc telemetry unit
