Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to support teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., rounding and hourly rounds).
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting and training staff, and on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient needs and productivity.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
