Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Program Graduate, Registered Nurse is required.
• 1 year RN experience is required.
• Virginia RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and assignment management based on census and acuity.
• Coordinate timely admissions, transfers, discharges and placements.
• Lead safety rounds and promote patient safety initiatives.
• Round on patients and address concerns to improve experience.
• Mentor and support onboarding, orientation and staff development.
• Communicate staffing/resource needs to leadership.
• Monitor department productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and regulatory compliance.
