Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Prior charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Clinical Coordinator (RN) to help lead and support our Surgical Services team. What You’ll Do

Role

As the Operating Room Clinical Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily surgical operations and ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care by:

• Coordinating daily workflow and surgical case flow in the Operating Room
• Supporting and supervising OR nursing staff and surgical team members
• Ensuring adherence to clinical best practices, policies, and safety standards
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Helping resolve real-time operational and patient care needs
• Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Call required

What We’re Looking For
