Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time home health care in Canistota, SD. The role involves using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the home setting, with leadership responsibilities on department projects.

A strong emphasis on communication with residents and families is essential. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, is licensed as an RN in the state (multistate acceptable), and has strong clinical reasoning.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Minimum two years’ clinical experience preferred.
• RN license in the practicing state; multistate license acceptable per NLC.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individualized nursing care in the home setting as part of the patient care team.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Document resident history, symptoms, medications and care in accordance with standards.
