Job summary

Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA, seeks an experienced Nurse Supervisor for the Interventional Cardiology Clinic and Transitional Care Clinic (TTC). The role requires five years of related nursing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity, with an RN license and CPR certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred.

You will lead staff, coordinate care, and uphold quality standards. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred - BSN in nursing.
• Preferred - ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe delivery of patient care and coordinates plan of care.
• Supervises and develops nursing staff and demonstrates leadership.
• Maintains effective communication within multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinates clinical operations within Interventional Cardiology and TTC clinics.
• Ensures adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Handles professional development and maintains clinical knowledge and credentials.
