Covenant Medical Group in East Tennessee seeks a Registered Nurse for the Knoxville Heart Group on a full-time, day shift schedule (72 hours per pay period). Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning.
Responsibilities include assessing patient and family needs, developing and evaluating plans of care, leading process improvements in the unit, precepting staff, and supervising LPNs.

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum of three (3) years professional experience.
Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; or
Ten (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or
Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor.
Valid Tennessee RN license. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR in-services are required
