Job summary

Sauk Prairie Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN to float across multiple clinics in WI, including Lodi, Plain, Spring Green, Prairie du Sac, and Mazomanie locations. The role is 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Holidays and weekends are not required; on-call is not needed. The RN will provide assessment and treatment, assist providers with procedures, and lead in department functions while mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience: 0–3 years in healthcare, clinic setting preferred.
• Licenses: Wisconsin RN license or eligibility; BLS certification within 3 months.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in all patient encounters.
• Performs nursing procedures, including therapeutic phlebotomies and allergy injections.
• Assists medical provider with processing of diagnostic results bringing significant values to the provider’s attention.
• Administers medication by all routes. Demonstrates and understands administration techniques.
• Triages/screens telephone calls related to patient care.
• Manages patient flow and patient rooming workflows as requested.
• Collect laboratory samples.
• Schedule referrals/outpatient diagnostic procedures including patient prep information and coordinate prior authorizations.
• Leads and participates in site process and policy improvement teams.
• Cross train and staff other clinics as needed.
