• Experience with authorization of procedures and entering orders
• Comfortable with phone triage and calling patients with abnormal labs

Description:This position is for an RN in a fast-paced cardiology clinic.The clinic sees patients every 15 minutes.The average patient load is between 24 to 60 patients per day.Patient types include adults with various cardiac conditions.Common diagnoses include CHF, chest pain, post-Cath Lab care, post-CABG, and pulmonary hypertension.The RN will support procedures, place Holter monitors, and obtain EKGs but is primarily focused on patient care.Support staff includes MAs, LPNs, and Patient Service Representatives.There are five cardiologists, one electrophysiologist, and four nurse practitioners in the team.The facility utilizes EPIC as the electronic medical records system.The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with rotating half days off each week.There is no weekend rotation or call required.Scrubs must be solid colors without graphics or logos.
