Freeman Health System in Springdale, AR seeks a Registered Nurse with perioperative expertise to coordinate patient care with surgeons, nurses, and technologists during operations. The RN will practice perioperative nursing, applying professional judgment and initiative.

Preferred candidates have circulator experience and a commitment to the facility's mission and patient safety. Full-time, day shift with Freeman benefits.

Formación

• Active RN license in Arkansas or a Compact State.
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing with operative care responsibilities.
• Experience as a circulator preferred.

What You’ll Do

The RN coordinates care with other healthcare providers, including but not limited to surgeons, charge nurses and surgical technologists in performing a safe operation with optimal outcomes for the patient. The RN practices perioperative nursing and must have acquired the necessary specific knowledge, skills, and judgment. Is a resource person and teacher. Care given reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Utilizes initiative and strives to maintain steady level of productivity. Is a self starter. Communication on behalf of the patient reflects the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the mission statement of the department.

Requirements

Registered Nurse – State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.

Preferred

Proficient in perioperative nursing practices as circulator.
