Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time day shift roles. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop SMART care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
RN with hospital/acute care experience.
Active RN license in good standing.
BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather history and vital signs.
Develop and implement individualized SMART care plans with patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments; perform wound care and IV therapy as needed.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers, and nurses for coordinated care.
Document care activities accurately in the medical record and update plans as needed.
Monitor and adjust care plans based on ongoing assessment and outcomes.
